IRC clients IRC clients for Windows
If you have Windows on your PC, the best IRC client to use is probably
mIRC. Once you have
set it up, you can either select a
DALnet or an
EsperNet
server from the server list.
IRC clients for Macintosh
If you have a Macintosh running MacOS 7.0 or higher (8.0 or higher and AppleScript
recommended) and MacTCP 2.0.x driver or Open Transport 1.1 or higher, you can use
IRCle.
Information about how to set up this client to access #animedvd will be
coming soon, in the mean time you may be able to refer to the
IRCle Quick Startup Guide.
IRC clients for UNIX
If you are running UNIX (or Linux, or FreeBSD, etc.) the best IRC client to use is
BitchX. Having set it up,
simply use it to connect to your local DALnet server.
